MARX IN SOHO: A play on HistoryFeel a little disconnected from your Conservative or Liberal friends? Tired of arguing with people about who is and isn't a communist or a Marxist. Want to have a place where you can all sit down together with someone just as frustrated as you . Well, once again Serial Stage is inviting Karl Marx back after another afterlife protest to come back to earth. Maybe you'll be able to do the same. Capitalism, Socialism and the everyday life of a radical political philosopher, brought to life on stage in this one man show is just what Santa would want to give us this holiday season...you know if he wasn't so red already.
Details coming soon, The show will be running December 20th-December 23rd. The Short Happy Life of Francis MacomberThis is a stage play we've adapted from the Hemingway short story. We're putting emphasis on the world of Mr. Robert Wilson (The Great hunter) who watches Macomer's evolution and the aftermath. The wife of Macomer, Margot, who has been the subject and/or victim of literary assumption will be without the authors track record of what some would call chauvinist certainty, so you will have to judge these people as they are played.
"Main thing a man had, made him into a man." ONCE MORE WITH FEELINGThis project is VERY important to us. This production is in the works with the goal of creating a workshop that will expand out the BVS story in order to create a deeper and more vivid stage production, that we will become Whedon approved. In the meantime, we will give you a production of this amazing show with amazing talent.
Bruce Leeroy In ConcertThis is our take on "Barry Gordy's: The Last Dragon". Our initial concept will still be a tribute to the collection of Barry Gordy produced tunes, but don't expect singing, expect phenomenal dance moves and martial arts action. Once the RZA takes a break from other projects and gets back to trying to reboot the movie, maybe we'll have pitch for a collaboration...The Last Dragon on Broadway anyone!
CLAUDIUS the FoolThis is a story about how a man who was believed to be an idiot did the smartest thing he could. He stayed an idiot...at least as far as his family was concerned.
The Mystery Of Edwin droodThis is a big fun who "who-done-it" show with great music, and the audience decides the outcome.
GhostsHenrik Ibsen’s Ghosts surprises modern audiences with some of the issues that it discusses, including out-of-wedlock children, venereal disease, incest, infidelity, and euthanasia...should be fun!
