"Let’s not speak anymore about capitalism, socialism. Let’s just speak of using the incredible wealth of the earth for human beings. Give people what they need: food, medicine, clean air, pure water, trees and grass, pleasant homes to live in, some hours of work, more hours of leisure. Don’t ask who deserves it. Every human being deserves it."

Marx In Soho: A play on History
by Howard Zinn © Howard Zinn Revocable Trust
Marx is back! The premise of this witty and insightful "play on history" is that Karl Marx has agitated with the authorities of the afterlife for a chance to clear his name. Through a bureaucratic error, though, Marx is sent to Soho in New York, rather than his old stomping ground in London, to make his case. Howard Zinn, best known for his book, 'A Peoples History of the United States', introduces us to Marx's wife, Jenny, his children, the anarchist Mikhail Bakunin, and a host of other characters. We're only excepting donations for this marathon of shows. James just really loves the work. He plans to tour it, but there's too much work to do here, and he had too many friends miss it. Don't miss your chance to see him loose himself in the mind of Karl Marx.
